A Sunflower for Ukraine- A Live HK Tangler Benefit Workshop

PLEASE NOTE: I will be using the same supplies I used to create the original pictured here. That said, PLEASE COME AS YOU ARE if you do not want to spend on new materials! This is a benefit! What matters is that you come!
Create a glowing sunflower HK Tangler style. This workshop is a benefit for the Ukrainian people. All proceeds will be donated to Global Giving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund
Materials that I will be using: A five inch square of hot press watercolor paper, Watercolors, Copic Alcohol Shading Grays, Black and Sepia Sakura Glaze pens, a yellow ochre Staedtler Triplus, a brown Sakura Identipen, and a gray Copic Multiliner or Sakura Micron will be needed in addition to the usual suspects of white chalk and white gel pen. However, you may also come as you are and use simply watercolors and whatever color fineliners you want! I want to make this class accessible! See Supply list for details!!

Cost: $40.00 USD – There are no prerequisites for this workshop, There is a good chance we will not finish the tile in class. That said you will get the video of the class the next morning so that you can finish. There is a lot of repetition to the steps in the shading and we will make sure that we cover all the steps live that you can finish on your own and work along with the video.
Students may take this class as next day Video on Demand if the live time is not convenient.
Summary: In this 3.hour workshop
In this intermediate to advanced, live workshop you will learn how to:

- Lay down a lovely sunflower as a base color in watercolors
- Tangle the petals and center tone on tone “HK Tangler Style”
- Shade with Copic Alcohol Markers to achieve super depth
- Highlight with white chalk and Gel Pen to give your tile height and glow.
