It’s about to be my favorite time of year!!! Inktober is coming. And on top of my usual excitement, I am tickled to announce that my tangle Spynes is the featured tangle for day 13. I am so very grateful for this honor. You can learn all about Spynes HERE
Oh and here is the complete PDF for Inktober 2021 that the amazing Stephanie Jennifer came up with this year. You can download it and all the names link to the stepouts!
Reading around this month on Facebook and chatting with students in my classes, everyone is abuzz about Inktober and deciding how they want to do it. 31 tiles? An opus with 31 little bijou sized squares? A journal? The opportunities are endless. Last year I did a watercolor background with drips a la map tangling to break up the sections.
This year I thought it would be fun to create some geometric strings to lay down our Inktober fun! I spent some time with it and came up with two elaborate large sized strings for you and two that aren’t so involved 🙂 On the left are the more straightforward strings. Feel free to right click on the image and save it to your computer. On the right…well those strings are not so much straightforward.
Below you will find two videos for the circle and the hexagon. I have done them both on large pieces of watercolor paper but Tiepolo works fine if you are tangling just in Micron. Would you like to learn how to do them? I had some fun making these two videos for you.
